A.B. Dick Back Blowers adds two unique features to your feeder,…Two adjustable air blowers and two weighted second sheet stop fingers.
Back Blower assembly attaches onto the center slide plate over the paper backstop where two flexible blower tubes with on/off valves offer infinate blower nozzle placement at the rear edge of the pile.
Auxillary air at the rear of the pile serves to lift and separate the top sheets when feeding full size and heavier weight stocks to feed at high production speeds.
The two weighted second sheet stop fingers press down upon the back edge of the pile. As the lead edge of the top sheet is lifted up from the pile, the sheet inches forward 3/16″ of an inch just before being forwarded into press.
It is at this moment when the top sheet has been lifted and moved forward that the weighted second sheet stop fingers rest on the tail edge of the tail edge of the second sheet, holding it in place while each top sheet slides forward into press.
This feature eliminates second sheet creep, the primary cause of miss-feeds and double sheets.
When not in use. Back Blower Assembly stows out of the way by attachment onto back side cover of press with strong magnetic knob.
With this Back Blower, you get the benefits of complete sheet separation throughout the length of the pile and its’ stop fingers hold second sheets in place for high speed production with all stocks….
