The Kompac II model HMD600-2-N fits the ‘Second Color Head’ of Hamada models 555CDA, and 665CD presses.
With Kompac Dampening your second color head can use a much softer ink formula and print at a higher level of quality. Thinner ink film provides the control to lay down just the right amount of ink ‘without’ over-inking the plate, reducing the chance of cross-color ink contamination, and print just like the popular Heidelberg 46-2!.
Thinner ink films shorten ink drying time and allows jobs to be backed-up, cut, or collated much sooner.
Softer inks also enhances the inking system and allows the printing of much larger solids and screens, improving the over-all inking capability of these presses.
